The Illinois Jeep Authority fully supports our men and women of the Armed Forces serving both away from home and within our borders. You protect our liberties every day with allegiance and honor. We want all to know that we are proud of the sacrifices you are making to preserve freedom for all people, everywhere. Additionally we thank our Veterans for your service.

TIJA Trail Rides, Meetings, and Events

TIJA is about getting out, having fun, and meeting with others.  Most of all we like to wheel.  Here are some of our upcoming trips, meetings, and get-togethers.  Hop onto our forums to find details, pics and plenty of discussions around these events.

June 20 - 21, 2009  Dadsfest 5th Annual Car & Bike Show at Willow Creek Community Church 67 E. Algonquin Rd South Barrington IL 60010 (Barrington Rd and Rte 62) Saturday night from 7-9PM and then Sunday morning from 10AM-2PM 

July 17 - 19, 2009 - Junior Jeepers at Summers Carroll Campground & The Badlands Off-Road Park (Attica, IN)

Who we are

The Illinois Jeep Authority is a group of Jeep enthusiasts located in Northern Illinois. TIJA is more than an off-road organization. We are a group of folks that enjoy Jeeps, enjoy working on them, enjoy wheeling them and value having our families involved in all we do. Our forums are open to the public with the exception of one "Members Only" forum. Membership is not required to participate in TIJA.

Membership

We in TIJA, are always looking for prospective members who: have some skills with a wrench, can handle their rigs capably, are always willing to learn, are always willing to teach, is a family man/ woman or "family friendly", and exhibit strong morals. If this describes you, and you want to pursue membership, become an active poster on our site and spend some time with us. That way we can get to know each other. Then let us know you'd like to formally join us.
